The Plan

So here is the plan...

Sheena and I decided to go to Italy for our 25th Wedding Anniversary.  Why?  It is one of the places in the world that I want to see.  As an art teacher and artist, I can't help be in awe of the effect that the Italian Renaissance had on Western Art.  Sheena is excited to go, but this is definitely one of my "bucket  list" things to do.

So we are going on July 2 and will be there for over two weeks.  I am going to take a camera and take a crazy amount of photos.  My plan is to upload as many as I can to this blog and keep a journal of our time in Italy.

We are going to fly into Rome, then spend most of our time in Florence (the heart of the Italian Renaissance), have a short stay in Venice, and then return to Rome.  I hope to have a great visual record of our time - something I will be able to use for inspiration and research for my own art work.
